The third edition of The Chennai Musical Extravaganza 2019 presented by The Schram Foundation was a wonderful play titled ‘The Unexpected Journey to Shangri-La’ on 25th & 26th January 2019 at the MCC School auditorium, Chetpet, Chennai. The play had the perfect mix of humour, adventure, intrigue, music, singing and dancing. It was brilliantly directed by Nilu and written by Chennai-based playwright Harry MacLure, Editor of Anglos In The Wind, the international magazine.
The students of The Schram Academy gave an excellent performance proving that education at The Schram Academy goes beyond the class rooms. Their acting and dancing skills made the play fantastic and a delight to watch.
‘Shangri-la’ is yet another original creation presented by The Schram Academy and wonderfully performed by its students. The excellent dance moves were choreographed by the John Britto’s Dance Company to the catchy tunes of Ganesh Ramanna, with the audio and visual effects of Victor Paulraj and Zeigen Paul. Judging by the enthusiastic audience response, the play and the amazing acting, singing and dancing talent of the students were well-appreciated by one and all.
